While the FIBRO AMJ™ NIGHT-TIME FORMULA is designed primarily for sleep restoration, the FIBRO AMJ™ DAY-TIME FORMULA contains powerful metabolites and herbal extracts that help in tissue repair, in the production of energy, and in the reduction of pain. Again, this is a product whose ingredients are designed to work together or synergistically. Magnesium is one of the many important ingredients because of its multiple roles which we have discussed in detail in the section on this vital mineral. Malic Acid is included because of its ability to enter quickly into the energy cycle which produces ATP. Glucosamine and Bovine Cartilage (think chondroitin sulfate) have been proven to be effective due to their supplying components necessary for tissue and joint repair. Mmethyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) has been shown to have remarkable ability to reduce muscle soreness and cramps and to alleviate the pain associated with systemic inflammatory disorders.
There is more Vitamin B-6 which we have identified as a co-factor in the production of serotonin. Boswellia Serrata (the biblical frankincense) is accepted as being effective as an anti-inflammatory and in pain management. Bromelain also is known as an anti-inflammatory and is used in pain management. Devil's Claw has been used in Europe for decades for reduction of pain in joints and the connective tissues. ALPHA Lipoc Acid is being recognized now as one of the most important anti-oxidants and we have discussed the stress that excessive free radicals place on an already overloaded immune system. Boron is an important trace mineral necessary for building healthy cell membranes and is considered absolutely critical for normal cell function as well as for certain enzyme functions. There is Grape Seed Extract which we will discuss in the overview of the anti-oxidants. Finally, there are Cysteine and N-Acetyl Cysteine which, as we mentioned previously, are also ingredients in the Night-Time Product. Both of these are important anti-oxidants in their own right. They are precursors in the production of glutathione which has many extremely important functions. Lymphocytes, important immune system cells, depend on glutathione for their function and replication. Glutathione is also one of the most important and powerful anti-oxidants yet discovered.
